happy easter
Hi everyone Happy Easter we as always have been very busy and there are lots of things going on over Easter, tomorrow (Monday) we have a show jumping competition starting at 10 am, Wednesday 2nd there is an ABRS TEST DAY so good luck to everyone taking their tests, on Thursday 3rd there is an Easter pony day only Gypsy free now so if you are interested give my mum Magi a ring.

Amber will be leaving us soon as she has been sold to a young lady called Darcy who lives near Wetherby, they get on really well together and Amber is very excited about moving to her new home, i'm sure Radar and i will see her at competitions, she's sure to be at Tockwith show.

I promised to tell you a bit about the horses so i will start with Olly, he was a racehorse and his racing name was Neigh Bother i don't think he was very good at it because he doesn't like being at the front, so my mum saw him at the horse sales he was 4 years old and was very thin and neglected so she felt sorry for him and bought him, that was 10 years ago, he was trained by mum and used in the riding school for the more advanced riders and anybody that has ridden him will know he is very nice to ride, because he is a thoroughbred he can be a bit frisky, and is quite sensitive, but is excellent at dressage.

I will tell you about someone else next month.

I will let you know how my dressage competitions are going, i am starting in April.

See you all when you come riding

Love Monica

Hi everyone since i last spoke to you we have had a new horse come and join us, his name is harvey and he is a Haflinger, he was a bit overweight when he came but is slimming down now, as those of you that have ridden him know  he can be a little bit cheeky but has fit into the riding school really well, and i know Honor really loves him !!!

It has been really busy around here we have 5 weeks of summer camps and mum has been busy arranging competitions at Jodhpurs.

I was supposed to go to the riding club area dressage competition on Sunday but it has been cancelled again due to the rain, and we have been practising like mad, never mind mum will have to find another competition to go to with me.

Radar went to the show jumping riding club area show and she came 1st she had the only double clear round in the intermediate out of all the teams in the area so they are now going to Lincoln in September.

The other news :
can i say well done to katie & sian Pinnington they both passed their ABRS tests a-e & we hope you are both enjoying living in Cyprus, don't forget to keep up with your riding.
We have a new lady coming to teach her name is Laura she is a BHSAI and she will be teaching wednesday, friday evenings and Saturday mornings. We think you will all like her, mum has been trying very hard to find the right instructor for you all, so everyone be nice to her and try really hard in your lessons.
